A sampling of our registered Percentage and Purebred does:

Essandea Gnocci

Essandea Gnocci

Gnocci is a registered 7/8ths doe. Her sire is Sugarfield Kenya, who passes on his remarkable length and mass. Gnocci is a powerful, smooth, feminine doe who is very solid on her feet, hardy and parasite-resistant. Gnocci has performed consistently well, both in the show ring and in the barn producing excellent kids. She was Grand Champion Percentage Doe at Markham Fair in 2006, Reserve Grand Champion Percentage Doe at Markham Fair 2007 behind her half-sister, and National Reserve Grand Champion Percentage Doe at the Canadian Caprine Classic in 2007. Her 2006 and 2007 doe kids have also performed very well, placing strongly in their show classes; her 2008 doe kid placed first in a strong class at the 2008 Caprine Classic.

Essandea Flopsy

We were lucky enough to acquire Gnocci's full sister Flopsy this fall from Stonehaven Farm, along with her lovely 2007 doeling. Flopsy scored very well in our first Classification with a VG 88, with comments from the classifier on her excellent mammary. Flopsy raised her own twins plus a fostered triplet on her own and they are among the biggest, fastest-growing of the 2008 kid crop.

Sugarfield Opal

Sugarfield Opal is a long, powerful 7/8ths doe who rules the Stonemoore herd and loves attention. Opal took Reserve Senior Champion Percentage Doe behind Gnocci at Markham Fair 2006. Opal's sire Jewilane Sugarfield Monty was Grand Champion at the Royal in 2002.

Sugarfield Rhonda

Sugarfield Rhonda is a Purebred daughter of Ram H Tipper, 2005 Supreme Champion Purebred Buck in Canada. She has produced some very nice bucklings for us. She will be bred to TSX fall 2008 and we are hoping for a doe kid from her to pass her amazing feet and pasterns on to.

Sugarfield Temptation

This beautiful 2007 daughter of Sugarfield Prodigy produced triplet purebred bucklings in her first kidding in June. Tempe is on a well-desearved holiday for Autumn 2008 and will be re-bred to TSX in late November.

Stonemoore Tiramisu

A 2007 Essandea Gnocci daughter. Placed 2nd in a strong class at Markham Fair 2007; Tiramisu gave us twin bucklings at her first kidding in June 2008 sired by TSX.

Essandea Stonemoore Teak and Essandea Stonemoore Tess

Teak and Tess are 2007 twin daughters of Dreamweaver Tiny sired by Mellow Mornings Token. Registered 7/8 Boer does,Teak was Grand Champion Percentage doe at Markham Fair 2007 over her half-sister Gnocci. Both does kidded as yearling in 2008 giving us some very nice meat kids (all bucklings), and both did very well in our first round of classification, Teak earning a G+81 while having lost some condition raising her twins, and Tess a VG 85.

Essandea Sadie

Another Gnocci daughter, Sadie has performed consistently well in the show ring. Sadly, we lost her first kids at birth, but Sadie will be bred to TSX in October 2008. Sadie earned a classification score of VG 85.

Nikado Felisha, Nikado Maureen and Nikado Jessa

These three beautiful daughters of J5 Galatea, J5 Blackbeard, and Nikado Bjorn respectively are excellent additions to the Stonemoore herd. Felisha and Maureen both produced twins in their first kidding in June; Jessa will be bred to TSX in October.

Junior Does

The doe herd continues to improve. The last of our Silverstone kids, born in February 2008 to Snoopy, Gnocci, and Opal are busy growing, and doing well in the show ring. The first TSX kid born, Stonemoore Unice, was Grand Champion Percentage doe at the 2008 Canadian Caprine classic. We look forward to watching them and the June 2008 doelings grow into their potential for 2009 breedings.
